FRIDA RAGNAR

Frida Ragnar is a Swedish Designer with an engineering background. She started her career as a summer intern for the internationally renowned Karim Rashid in New York City where she subsequently worked as an industrial designer for 18 months. Project highlights from her time in the studio include – glassware for Krosno that launched at Ambiente in Frankfurt 2019, as well as a sink for Relax Design that was one of the finalists within the bath category for the Interior Design Magazine’s 2019 award.Frida pursued her University education in the United Kingdom and has a Masters degree in Product Design Engineering with Distinction from University of Strathclyde. She graduated with recognition for the effort she put in to her final year by achieving the Best Final Year Project award by the institution of Engineering Designers.In April 2020 she started her own company Frida Ragnar Design selling 3D printed jewellery with a focus on sustainability, with the aim to follow the principles of circular economy wherever possible.

In the Spring of 2021 Frida joined Grillo Outdoor Kitchens as their Product Design Engineer, where she has been leading the development of new products and refining of existing products from idea to manufacturing. Initially this was in the capacity as a full time employee, and since November 2023, as a part time freelance designer.
